From
South -
1A) Either go through Rawang
and head up old Ipoh Road (Route 1) passing Serendah, the big
Golf Ball and Antara Gapi.
1B) If on North South Highway
(this is longer but probably quicker avoiding possible traffic
jam in Rawang). Pass Rawang turn off and take next turn off,
Bukit Beruntung), after toll turn right at traffic lights. Pass
straight through numerous traffic lights until you reach traffic
lights on T-junction with Route 1 turn left. Pass Serendah,
the big Golf Ball and Antara Gapi.
2) 400 meters after the
"IPOH 160km" milestone (approx 16km from Rawang),
turn LEFT at 'ELF' sign. Then go right and then left.
3) Drive on the pebble road
keeping left at junction for 300 meters and park beside uncompleted
shaded factory site
4) Note that if you pass
an abandoned Supermarket on you right on the main road you have
gone 200 meters too far.
From North -
1) Exit North South Highway
at Tanjong Malim, pass through toll at turn right onto Route
1.
2) Pass through Batang Kali
(approx 20km), go over railway bridge and in about 1km look
for abandoned supermarket on left, 200m later turn right
Drive on the pebble road
keeping left at junction for 300 meters and park beside uncompleted
shaded factory site.
SOME TIPS:
The run is approximately
25km over varied terrain, there will be two waterstops at approx
11 and 19km mark.
We will provide limited
water and Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) at the start, please
bring your running water bottles full.
At the waterstops there
will be water, ORS and fruits
At the finish there will
be water, 100+, beer a snack to be served as people finish.
A full meal will be served after all people have finished.
A sun hat and mosquito spray
is recommended.
