Up the hill and down we go, Who cares where this damn trail will flow? At last we reach the beer-stop shrine, Where schnitzel waits and schnapps shine. Crispy, golden, hot and grand— The finest Hash food in the land. A schnapps goes down, a glass is raised, To all the fools who’ve run this maze. The hares are blamed, the hounds complain, Then someone starts the songs again. So drink your schnapps and eat your meat, Forget the blisters on your feet.
