Hello fellow or prospective hashers.

Welcome to the KL Full Moon Hash House Harriers web site. KLFMH3 was founded in 1992 by The late Chuck “Titanic” Pollock.

Ever since its inception, the KLFMH3 has strived to make hashing an extraordinary event. Our annual Ball Breaker Run and Pub Crawls are just part of the exciting events we bring to our hash brethren around the world.

You may well know that the membership fee is a one time payment of RM 210 for males
and RM 140 for females.

However, there are instances where many of us may not be able to attend all the runs
in the year. We are thus paying and not getting the fulll benefit of our fees. This has resulted in many
members not renewing their membership and some not coming to the KL Full Moon
anymore.

The Committee has thought about this all of last year and finally come up with
a brilliant stratagem to be fair to all fully attending members, partially attending
members as well as encouraging new members to join the chapter.

The alternative fee structure is as follows:

Annual membership fee: RM 50

Fees per run for males: RM 20

Fees per run for females: RM 10

Guest Fees remain at RM 35 per run.

This is in consideration of the following:

It is well and good for males to pay the current fees of RM 210 if you attend all 12 runs in the year regularly
or for females to pay the current fees of RM 140 and also attend all 12 runs regularly.

This is the same as attending 8 runs for males and 9 runs for females in the alternative fee structure:

MALES:

Membership RM 50
8 runs at RM 20 per run RM 160
Total paid RM 210

FEMALES:
Membership RM 50
9 runs at RM 10 per run RM 90
Total paid RM 140

You obviously benefit if you ran more than these number of runs respectively with the current fees.

BUT, if a male member figures that he can only attend 7 runs or less each year, he is better off paying
the alternative fee structure.
Similarly, if a female member figures she can only do 8 runs or less in a year, she is also better off
with the alternative fee structure.

Therefore look and ahead if you can and decide on which method of payment
you would like. You can choose either the present or the alternative structure. But you cannot change during
the year. You can however, change from year to year.

We have had many fun activities such as the Ball Breaker, enjoyed by ordinary runners too, the
Triangular Run, the Pub Crawl as well as a Blue Moon Run, some of which in 2007 had larger numbers than ever before.

Please pass this information to your friends who may have wanted to join the
KL FULL MOON HASH HOUSE HARRIERS but never did.

It is now very attractive to do so.
